The Ashvins (aka Asvins, Asvinau, or
Asvini Kumaras) are two twin brothers of Hindu mythology, sons of the
sun god Surya. They are considered the physicians of the gods. Mentioned in the Rig Veda, the Upanishads, and the Mahabharata, they have also been know to restore life to the dead.

I chose this subject because the world is in need of health and wellness on a grand scale right now. It was something of a bonus finding the Hindu connection to resurrection on this day, Easter Sunday. Certain important concepts are found in every spiritual tradition!
